In this Industrial Engineer role at Applied Materials, you will optimize manufacturing processes and layouts to boost efficiency, safety, and productivity in a high‑tech production environment. You’ll lead cross‑functional improvement projects and support new product introductions, including cleanroom work and capacity planning. Your work will directly impact factory performance and product readiness in a global materials engineering company.

- Design and optimize plant layouts, including cleanroom spaces, production bays, material staging, and handling systems
- Support new product introduction by defining manufacturing line design, material flow, tooling, and production setup (PLC/ePLC deliverables)
- Conduct ergonomics and human factors assessments and implement safe, effective work environments
- Develop and maintain capacity models for workforce, equipment, space, and materials
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, production, and logistics teams to implement manufacturing solutions
- Establish and standardize processes aligning with quality standards and best practices
- Perform simulations and data analysis to support decision‑making and operational improvements
- Act as a role model for safety, compliance, and company values on the production floor
Responsabilità
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing environments (cleanroom experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools
- Ability to perform ROI analysis and simulations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
