Position We are looking for a Product Development Manager to join our Rollerblade brand. Responsibilities Product Development Lead the product development process from design brief to production-ready sample, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and cost targets; Translate design intent and technical specifications into feasible, manufacturable products in close cooperation with factory partners; Ensure products are developed in full alignment with the assigned target cost (CBD analysis and cost evaluation are core competencies); Critically evaluate design solutions proposed, identifying opportunities to minimize cost, lead time, and MOQ; Manage the product creation team and Asian developers; Ensure smooth cross‑functional collaboration between product creation, sourcing, and manufacturing teams; Sourcing Support Build and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturing partners to support effective product development; Ensure supplier performance in terms of technical standards, cost, and quality throughout the development process; Support the analysis and evaluation of suitable factories (factory identification and onboarding is led by the Head of Sourcing; the Product Developer contributes technical and developmental input); Propose new suppliers when appropriate, with proposals informed by both product development needs and supply chain logic avoiding unnecessary geographic fragmentation of the supplier base; Process Excellence & Complexity Reduction Monitor, standardize, and continuously improve product creation processes; Drive the reduction of overall complexity across materials, product structures, and development workflows; Increase efficiency, scalability, and transparency across the product creation value chain; Requirements Proven experience of almost 8 years in product development within the inline skate/wheeled sports industry, footwear, sporting goods; Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods; Solid experience with CBD analysis and target costing; Experience managing development teams across geographies (Italy and Asia); Fluent English; Availability for frequent travel to Asia (sourcing and factory visits); Supply chain and logistics awareness is considered a significant plus: ability to make supplier proposals that support supply chain efficiency and geographic coherence; Compensation and employment terms will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications , with an indicative gross annual salary in the range of €60,000–€70,000 . #J-18808-Ljbffr
