R&D Manager – Environmental Services / Recycling (Mandatory Industry)

Senior R&D Manager – Environmental Services / Recycling (Mandatory Industry)

Location: Near Asolo / Bassano del Grappa area (Treviso), Italy

Job Description

The selected candidate will play a key role in the Research & Development department, working within an international and structured environment, in close collaboration with both local teams and international headquarters.

Main responsibilities include:

• Leading R&D projects focused on waste treatment, recycling and material recovery processes
• Developing innovative solutions to improve sustainability and process efficiency
• Supporting the industrialization and scale-up of new technologies and processes
• Collaborating closely with operations, engineering and commercial teams
• Monitoring industry trends, technologies and regulatory developments
• Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in R&D roles within environmental services, waste management, recycling, or closely related sectors (mandatory)
• Degree in a technical field (Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar)
• Strong background in industrial processes related to waste treatment, material recovery or circular economy
• Proven experience in translating research into practical and scalable solutions
• Fluent English (mandatory for international collaboration)
• Good knowledge of digital tools and data analysis systems
