Senior Tax Manager

(m/w/d) to join our Group Finance team and act as the central point of contact for tax-related issues in day-to-day operations, as well as to implement robust tax processes and concepts within our Joint Venture. Please note

: depending on the location of the candidate, we are open to filling this position on our locations in Italy (Riese) or Slovenia (Grosuplje). How you will contribute

In this role, you will be responsible for providing tax support to the affiliated companies and ensuring compliance with tax requirements. You will serve as the central point of contact for tax-related issues in day-to-day operations and support management and functional departments in tax-related decisions and structural matters. A particular focus will be on the development, harmonization, and implementation of robust tax processes and concepts within the Joint Venture. In addition, you will support the further development and operational implementation of the internal transfer pricing system, as well as the integration of tax requirements into new business processes. Your responsibilities will include: Advising on tax matters and supporting the tax structuring of different business models Further developing and monitoring tax compliance and related processes within the legal entities of the Joint Venture Managing external tax advisors and serving as the point of contact for tax authorities and the Miele Group Tax Department Supporting tax audits in collaboration with the respective finance teams Managing and coordinating the further development of the Joint Venture’s internal transfer pricing system in consultation with the Miele Group Tax Department Supporting tax reporting efforts of the local entities finance teams What you need to succeed

We are seeking a candidate who brings the following: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Law with a focus on taxation Certification as a Tax Advisor is a plus Several years of professional experience in the tax department of an international group or an international tax consulting company Strong knowledge of international tax law Analytical and solution-oriented thinking Ability to work independently and in a structured manner Assertiveness and confident presence Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English Team player with strong intercultural skills Why join our team
