To support the growth of our programs and ensure the successful achievement of project milestones, we are looking for an Engineering Planner to join our Engineering organization within the "E&I Planning, Control & Performance Analysis" Area based in Cascina Costa.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Area/Discipline Technical Planner who will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating engineering activities, supporting Engineering Managers and Technical Leaders in achieving program objectives in terms of schedule, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive support for planning, budgeting, and performance analysis
Working closely with Heads of Technical Areas / Disciplines, they: aggregate demand requests
ensure alignment between platform / program plans and Technical Area / Discipline plans
They assist System Engineers / Chief Projects and Heads of Technical Areas / Disciplines in:
monitoring and forecasting program / platform planning
conducting schedule and cost variance analyses
identifying critical paths and potential issues
Proactively managing Technical Areas / Discipline saturation issues or plan unfeasibility
They propose recovery actions and report criticalities and risks to E&I Planning, Control & Performance Analysis Management, contributing to the optimization of project performance and ensure the execution of agreed Baselines within Technical Area / Disciplines
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of project planning and scheduling methodologies
Experience with planning tools such as Microsoft Project
Experience with MS Office suite
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in project planning
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
Knowledge of SAP
Familiarity with product development processes
Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) are considered an advantage
