Job Description The IT Manager leads the technological strategy and operations of H-Farm School, ensuring that systems, networks and digital tools effectively support teaching, learning and administrative excellence. The role acts as a strategic business partner to school and regional leadership, driving innovation, strengthening cybersecurity, and ensuring alignment with Nord Anglia Education's digital vision. The IT Manager oversees the IT team, manages projects and budgets, coordinates with external suppliers and ensures that all technology services are reliable, secure and future‑ready. Responsibilities The role provides strategic direction for the school's IT function by aligning technology initiatives with educational objectives and regional standards. Recommends and implements investments that enhance efficiency, innovation and long‑term value, while ensuring that the needs of all departments are captured, prioritised and delivered. Manages budget forecasting, planning, and IT expenditure, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and ensuring quality service delivery across the schools. Leads IT projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely, high‑quality outcomes and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Partners with academic and administrative teams to drive technology adoption and integration, and collaborates with Regional and Central IT to align with Nord Anglia's global standards. Manages vendor relationships, oversees contract compliance, and monitors performance for cost‑effectiveness and reliability. Ensures performance, security and reliability of all IT systems, networks and infrastructure; responds efficiently to incidents, minimises service disruptions and provides strong support during key school processes. Safeguards systems and data, ensures adherence to local regulations and Nord Anglia policies and implements best practices in data protection. Monitors IT performance through KPIs and service reporting and drives continuous improvement across all IT operations. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Computer Science or a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in IT management. Experience managing Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Azure AD environments; strong knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure and current cybersecurity standards. Project management experience, vendor management, budget oversight and leadership of IT teams. Preferred certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Microsoft or Cisco.
