As a Project Engineer at Purina, you lead engineering initiatives to deliver on time, cost-efficient, and compliant projects in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions that improve processes and support strategic aims. You will manage planning, execution, supplier relations, and safety and environmental compliance, driving measurable improvements. This role offers the chance to influence manufacturing performance and sustainability within a global pet-care leader. Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, resources and budgets Coordinate with design, production and maintenance to ensure feasibility and alignment with factory capabilities Manage suppliers and contractors for equipment, services and installations, including contracts and quality of deliverables Maintain project documentation (drawings, specs, risk assessments, progress reports) Monitor costs and seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or quality Ensure project compliance with local regulations, environmental standards and internal safety policies; participate in risk assessments and safety audits Identify and implement process improvements to manufacturing efficiency, equipment performance and energy usage Collaborate with HSE, production, quality and logistics to align projects with operational goals; work with central teams to meet Nestlé standards and technologies Support introduction of new technologies, automation and digital tools in factory operations Provide training and support to operators/maintenance during handover; collaborate with OSL Contribute to sustainability initiatives such as energy efficiency and waste reduction aligned with Nestlé MM0 targets Promote a positive, collaborative work culture and 'Power of Purina' mindset Qualifications

2-3 years in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment (preferably Food/Pharma/FMCG) Proven project management experience; PMI certification is a plus Fluency in English; Italian preferred Knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial standards and safety/compliance requirements Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Requirements
