As Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will lead the Sports Medicine sales team across Northern Italy, driving growth and strengthening partnerships with hospitals and healthcare systems. You will balance strategic planning with hands‑on field leadership to deliver targets and nurture talent. This role offers visibility within a global innovator, with opportunities to shape regional strategy and improve customer experience across Order‑to‑Cash processes. You will collaborate across functions to sustain performance and transformative impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coach a high‑performing sales team across Northern Italy
Achieve regional sales targets and forecast accurately
Develop and execute strategic growth plans
Strengthen partnerships with hospitals and healthcare systems
Navigate complex multi‑stakeholder sales cycles
Ensure sustainable pipeline and accurate forecasting
Collaborate cross‑functionally to optimise customer experience and Order‑to‑Cash
Support indirect sales channels and agents
Monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions
Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Be a role model within the leadership team through mentoring and knowledge sharing
Support local and European strategic initiatives and act as delegate when needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years total professional experience
Valid driving licence
Experience in Medical Devices, preferably Sports Medicine or Orthopedic Implants
Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles
Experience leading through influence, coaching, and people development
Commercial and financial acumen with strong business planning
CRM systems and MS Office experience
English language proficiency
Minimum 4 years leading successful sales teams
