Job Summary

We are seeking a Traveling Repair & Maintenance Service Technician to support roofing repair and maintenance operations across our branch network. In this role, you will work as part of a two‑person crew (Technician + Helper) traveling to various job sites and branch locations where additional service support is needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, travel, and field service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to branch locations in multiple states to support roofing repair and service needs
• Work alongside a service helper to complete roofing inspections and repairs
• Diagnose roofing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Perform repairs, including patching, sealing, and material replacement
• Safely set up ladders and access rooftop work areas
• Communicate with branch teams and customers regarding service needs and completed work
• Maintain work documentation, service records, and job reports
• Clean work areas and remove debris after repairs
• Frequent out‑of‑state travel to support branch operations
• Assignments may vary by location depending on service demand
• Travel will typically be completed as a two‑person crew (Technician + Helper)
• Driving between service locations and job sites is required

Tools & Equipment

• Company service truck
• Roofing hand tools and repair equipment
• Patch and sealing materials
• Communication devices such as cell phone

This role involves active field work in outdoor environments and may include exposure to weather conditions, rooftop work areas with obstacles, ladder climbing, and other construction‑related conditions. Appropriate safety equipment including fall protection, safety footwear, gloves, eye protection, and hard hats is required.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for extended periods while performing repairs
• Climbing ladders and navigating rooftop surfaces
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, and handling tools frequently
• Carrying tools and roofing materials as required
• Driving between service locations

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in roofing, construction, maintenance, or related trades
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
• Willingness to travel to multiple states
