The Machine Operator will be responsible for working from shop drawing, procedures and/or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations. Produces parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. This role is located in Verona, VA and will be fully on-site.Weekend Shift Starting Pay: $25.50/hour working 36 hrs. a weekWeekend Shift Schedule: Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pmPay Schedule: Bi-weeklyResponsibilitiesPlans machining by reading, interpreting, understanding, and working from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction.Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials.Programs equipment by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation.Sets up equipment by installing and adjusting tools, attachments, heads, etc.Maintains specifications by observing, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting, adjust and/or programming controls.Maintains equipment by completing operator maintenance requirements, following manufacturers and/or company instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and/or calling for repairs.Maintain required records in either written or electronic form.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred3 to 5 years’ previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.Arm/hand steadinessManual DexterityPerform work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, and reachingClose vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and hand-eye coordination.Joining Wieland’s team gives you…Benefits - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!Retirement Savings - 401(k) contribution + match.Work/Life Balance - Paid Vacation & Holidays.Growth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
