Descrizione:
As Customer Contact, your mission is to manage customer orders from data entry / receive until shipment, and keep both the customer and internal production informed about the status of the orders. Taking care of the customer needs is key to this function.
You will be part of the Logistic Outbound Team and will report to the Logistics Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Support customers from all assigned countries, handling inquiries before orders, checking order entry, following status until shipment and invoicing, and maintaining system parameters.
- Plan and book shipments with forwarders, and issue relevant documents (CMR, packing lists, invoices, certificates, customs declarations).
- Keep the customer informed of any changes compared to the promised conditions.
- Provide all needed documents and support Finance and Marketing logistics–related projects as required.
- Build stable and constant relationships as a service‑oriented and customer‑mindful individual.
- Maintain continuous contact with Production Planners, Marketing, Customer Centres, and Logistics Partners to ensure high customer satisfaction and optimize operational efficiency.
- Work as a team to improve processes and contribute to departmental and company goals.
Requirements
- Experience Requirements
- Interest and experience in customer relationship, transport, and export of goods are a plus.
- Educational Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering or Economics is a plus.
- Knowledge and Personality Requirements
- Knowledge of Office tools, especially Excel.
- Fluent in Italian and English; other language is an advantage.
- Knowledge of customs legislation is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset and relevant knowledge of and interest in logistic processes.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Customer‑oriented, building good relationships with internal and external customers.
