Your Mission
We are looking for a highly motivated Wholesale Marketing Manager to join our headquarters in Milan. Reporting to the Global Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence in the Wholesale and Travel Retail channels on a global scale, coordinating and executing brand activations and serving as the main point of contact for the Wholesale Team’s channel marketing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a proper channel marketing strategy tailored to wholesale sub‑channels (Key Accounts, Distributors, Travel Retail, Franchising, Traditional) to increase sales, product visibility and market share.
- Scout, manage and collaborate with external agencies to design dedicated displays and tools for Wholesale and Travel Retail, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
- Own the Wholesale Catalogue project multi‑functional creation and lead the process of sharing with customers, in alignment with the Wholesale Team.
- Adapt visual merchandising guidelines based on product assortments, working closely with Marketing and Sales Teams to ensure consistency through planogram management for key accounts and priority activations.
- Supervise and project‑manage the most relevant fairs and events for the Wholesale and Travel Retail business, ensuring global consistency in Venchi’s presence.
- Oversee the execution of pop‑ups and special activations, aimed at driving sales and visibility in high‑traffic locations.
- Analyze Wholesale channel performance, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize channel‑specific marketing tactics.
- Create a comprehensive activation plan, aligned with Global Marketing guidelines, incorporating in‑store experiences and promotional guidelines.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain the brand’s competitive edge in Wholesale and Travel Retail channels.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum five years of experience in Trade Marketing, with a proven track record in channel marketing management and creating best practices for Wholesale channels.
- Strong expertise in Wholesale channels and an in‑depth understanding of their unique dynamics.
- Effective communicator, skilled at engaging stakeholders at all levels to clearly articulate Venchi’s strategic vision.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to assess market trends, identify trade opportunities, and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Project management driven and experienced in collaborating with external agencies to achieve business goals.
- Based in Milan and experienced in working on a Global scale.
- Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
- A chocolate and gelato lover.
