Job Summary

A business unit in Milan (AxL) is hiring a Restaurant Manager for a client restaurant located in the Buonarroti area of Milan. The manager will be based at the client’s premises and will work full‑time (48 hours per week, Monday to Sunday), with one rest day on a rotating schedule (shift periods 11:00‑15:00 and 18:30‑22:00). The position is permanent and salaried up to €30,000 gross per year, under the CCNL Turismo – 2nd level, with company welfare benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the reception and customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Coordinate the staff, assigning responsibilities and giving operational guidance for daily tasks.
  • Guarantee coverage of all shifts and workstations, resolving routine issues and problems.
  • Manage the venue during service, ensuring quality and precision in all operations.
  • Proactively recommend actions to improve service quality.
  • Handle inventory management, ordering, and supervision of cleanliness, complying with hygiene and health procedures.
  • Process payments (in‑house and online) and monitor revenue.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service and venue management.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the hospitality sector, preferably as shift leader or table manager.
  • Immediate availability to start work.
  • Strong team‑working ability.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Leadership, proactivity, and passion for the food sector.

Work Conditions & Benefits

Permanent full‑time contract with a gross annual salary up to €30,000. The working time is 48 hours per week, divided into two shifts (mid‑day and evening). The position offers welfare benefits in line with CCNL Turismo – 2nd level.
