Responsibilities
Full GL Ownership: Oversee end-to-end General Ledger activities for the Italian legal entity, ensuring compliance with local and Group standards.
International Accounting Support: Act as a point of contact for cross-border accounting flows and international projects, ensuring alignment between Italy and the Group HQ.
Financial Reporting: Preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
Analytical Oversight: Conduct deep-dive analysis on financial data and intercompany reconciliations, transforming numbers into actionable insights.
Operational Integrity: Support day-to-day accounting activities and act as a strategic backup during holiday periods to maintain business continuity and broaden your scope of expertise.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Advanced Tax Compliance: Independently manage VAT, LIPE, and statutory filings, ensuring total accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Audit & Year-End Support: Provide high-level support to the Accounting Manager during the preparation of Financial Statements and Audit cycles.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and SAP and/or S/4HANA.
Fluent English.
Ability to work proactively, strong team-working skills with ability to work independently.
Ability to adapt yourself to work in a fast-paced environment.
