Experteer Overview
In this role you lead the hotel’s sales and drive revenue growth across Rooms, F&B, Spa and Events. You will shape the integrated commercial strategy in line with brand guidelines, coordinate with Revenue and Marketing, and ensure market-relevant initiatives. You’ll use data and market insight to capture demand and optimize profitability, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver commercial performance. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership position at a flagship luxury property within a renowned global group.

Lead revenue-generating functions (Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Distribution) to grow business and align with market trends and brand positioning
Develop and implement the integrated commercial strategy and business outlook
Prepare annual sales budget, marketing plan, and commercial forecasts with Revenue and Marketing teams
Use data/market intelligence to monitor trends and adapt strategies to demand
Identify future revenue opportunities across segments and translate insights into actionable plans with KPIs
Foster collaboration across Sales, Revenue, Marketing and operations to achieve performance
Define pricing, inventory controls, segmentation, channels and source-market strategies with Director of Revenue
Oversee sales strategies and ensure alignment with Regional Offices, Corporate Revenue, Marketing and on-property leadership
Evaluate sales channels, optimize deployment, and allocate budgets to maximise ROI
Lead event-specific revenue strategies and timely handling of reservations to capture demand
Collaborate with Marketing to design campaigns supporting commercial objectives
Ensure consistent brand messaging and leverage digital platforms for awareness and conversion
Review campaign results and adjust plans to improve effectiveness
Analyse financial statements and market data to identify risks, opportunities and gaps
Track and report key metrics (booking pace, market share, competitor performance)
Embed governance to identify risks/opportunities and present action plans to meet targets
Control expenditures via monthly forecasts and adherence to budgets
Utilise commercial systems (SynXis, IDeaS, Delphi) for strategy execution and reporting
Ensure compliance with Mandarin Oriental policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required by General Manager
Responsabilità
7+ years in senior sales within luxury hospitality
at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams and key accounts
proven track record of revenue growth and meeting commercial targets
strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and Distribution
high business acumen and strategic thinking to anticipate trends and translate insights into plans
English proficiency (and local language where applicable)
proficiency with hotel systems such as SynXis, IDeaS, Delphi and related analytical tools
ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-changing environment
