SALES CONSULTANT / ITALY TRAVEL SPECIALIST
FULLY REMOTE
UP TO £32,000 (DOE) + COMMISSION
Sales Consultant job, fully remote, within the luxury travel industry, offering up to £32,000 DOE plus commission. This is a client-facing travel sales role focused on Italy, handling enquiries, building lasting relationships, and crafting bespoke itineraries for discerning clients, including bookings from travel agents.

Our client is a well-established boutique tour operator specialising in bespoke day tour itineraries for discerning travellers. Known for delivering custom experiences of exceptional quality, they combine expert destination knowledge with a highly personal approach that keeps clients returning again and again.
As the business continues to grow, they are now seeking a Sales Consultant / Italy Travel Sales Agent to join their team — someone who will take ownership of client relationships and play a central role in crafting personalised Italy travel experiences, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
▌ The Role
In this role, you will be instrumental in creating memorable travel experiences for clients while maximising sales opportunities — managing the full journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking.
– Manage client enquiries and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
– Design bespoke day tour itineraries tailored to individual client needs
– Handle requests, itineraries and bookings from travel agents
– Create customised itinerary content and supporting documentation
– Manage relationships with guides and suppliers across Italy
– Book guides, tickets and other service providers
– Source and book accommodation for clients
▌ Experience Required
– Previous experience with a tour operator, ideally providing bespoke itineraries for high-level clients including transfers, tours and accommodation
– Excellent written and spoken English
– Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical ability
– Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision
– Able to learn new operating systems quickly
– Flexible with working hours — clients are primarily US-based, so availability outside standard UK hours is required
– Adaptable under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines
